Classes and Events

Class Schedules for 2013

Wagnalls Memorial Art Classes for all ages are held each Wednesday in the Stevenson Room from 4-6 p.m. for children  and 6-8 p.m. for adults.  For the class supply list see below.

The price per class is $12 for 2 hours or $6 for one hour.  Hope to see you soon!

The 13th Annual Wagnalls Memorial Student Art Show will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Children’s Activity Center in the Children’s Library.  Come meet the artists!  Refreshments will be served.  Family and Friends are welcome!

 An Education in Artistry

Teresa Satola is a classically trained artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Costume. It is said, “you cannot give away what you do not yourself possess.” Teresa is proud to teach classes in the Old Master’s technique of oil painting to adults and children. She is also gifted in developing the artistic visions of her students in the mediums of oil painting, watercolor, colored pencil, and drawing.

    I spoke to you last week about my daugter and I taking your art classes every other Wednesday. What supply list should we start out with?

      Hi Lisa,

      I think the supply list that I would start out with would be colored pencil with the Prismacolor colored pencils. That way you can both use the same pencils. Use the Adult Colored Pencil Supply list on the “Classes and Events” page. If you have any more questions, let me know.
