Description

In the 17th Century, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque had visions of Christ revealing His heart, burning with divine love.  In 1801, St. Madeleine Sophie Barat began the Society of the Sacred Heart dedicated to the Sacred Heart and to teaching girls.
