February 11, 2008 was the 150th anniversary of the first of a series of apparitions of Our Lady to 14 year old Bernadette Soubirous in Lourdes, France. It was in 1858 that our Lady appeared to the young girl and asked for a church to be built on that site. When Bernadette asked who she was, the beautiful lady replied, “I am the Immaculate Conception.”
