Pedro de Corpa & Companions Rosary Keepsake Box

$40.00

Pedro de Corpa and companions, Antonio de Bádajoz, Blas Rodríguez, Miguel de Añon and Francisco de Veráscola came as Franciscian Missionaries to Spanish Florida around 1587 to die ten years later defending the sanctity of marriage. The catalyst for their death was their refusal to allow a baptized Catholic to take a second wife.

The Vatican has opened their cause for Canonization. Their feast is September 14th, the Exultation of the Cross, the date that Pedro, the first to be martyred, died.
