The history of the Infant of Prague dates back to 1555 . The original statue is located in the Carmelite Church of Our Lady Victorious in Malá Strana in Prague, Czech Republic. It is claimed that the statue once belonged to St. Teresa of Avila. St. Thérèse of Lisieux had a great devotion to the Infant of Prague.
